It is a normal occurrence for children to experience various phases in life. It all starts with infancy to being a toddler and lastly, to his teenage years. These various stages in their lives will surely be filled will various happy moments and fun activities. It is during his toddler stage that the child is most formative in thought. Whatever it is that he learns or experiences when he is a toddler, he will most likely remember till he is all grown up. Whatever the experience is, whether a falls, a head bump. New activities and discoveries, they will surely be learning something new from. That is why it is important to plan learning activities for toddlers.
There are a lot of fun activities for toddlers that are not only made to enjoy by the child himself but also by his parents as well. Parents will be able to support their child and help them grow emotionally, mentally, socially and physically by joining them with these fun activities. It is therefore detrimental that you mange to have your kid focused on such activities and make sure that their inclination for leaning, discovery and interaction with others remains active and alive.
One of the most fun activities for toddlers is fun with household things and objects. Try leaving a certain household object with your child. Have him pick an object and explain to him how that certain object became important. Even with the simple action of picking it up, the toddler is already learning the object’s image. These forms of discoveries are vital in term of stimulating his drive towards accomplishing and learning things.
Having fun with the use of a bean bag may also prove to be beneficial and fun for the toddlers. You can improvise by giving his some dried beans and an old sock. Have him fill up the sock with the beans and create a bean bag. Kids enjoy tossing big bags around.
Experiment with flashlights as well. Get your child to enjoy a flashlight game. For instance, take your flashlight and point it towards different objects in your home. Then have him guess the things that the light points to. You can also make the activity more exciting by creating shadow figures from it or by putting in stories to it.
Visiting museums with your child would also be fun. These young kids are definitely going to love new things and places they will come across with when visiting museums. It s best to choose the museum that has lots of art pieces, articles and objects to play with and available games they can enjoy to stimulate their mind and body.
Water is a fun object for these kids. You may improvise and just fill up a tub with water. You may also give then pails and other types of containers to fill with water to play with. They can transfer water from one pail to another. This is not just a simple and messy game for then since it can also promote their hand and eye coordination.
The abovementioned fun activities for toddlers are just few of the many choices available. There are still a lot of other activities to choose from such as shape hunt, toddler rhymes, riddles, connect the dots, hide and seek, coloring books and puzzle games among others. These games will make them learn a lot at such a young age.
